When Silence Speaks Louder Than Closure

There are goodbyes that shatter, and then there are silences that echo. Not all endings announce themselves. Some just slip quietly into the background — like static you stop noticing until you realize the music’s been gone for a while. No slammed doors, no explanations. Just a gradual erasure, like watching ink fade from a letter you read too many times. You keep checking your phone, not because you expect a message, but because some part of you still hopes silence can be broken like a fever. Unspoken words hang heavier than shouted ones. The things we never said take on lives of their own — mutating into doubts, rewrites, what-ifs. You rehearse arguments you'll never have, play both sides until you forget which one was yours. And isn’t that the cruelty of silence? That it offers no shape to mourn, no moment to collapse against? Just a formless absence where meaning used to live. Closure is a myth we invented to survive unfinished stories. But silence — silence tells you there was...

Endings... an Elegy

In the realm of endings, lingered remnants lie, Transformed, unrecognizable, yet enduring, No longer adorned with familiar labels, Nor the profiles once known, they persist. Imagine the actors in this play of cessation, Aware of its continuation, a paradox of existence, Unfolding within an unmarked relationship, Unveiling depths beyond the ordinary. Haunted parks, offices, and well-trodden paths, Bearing witness to flourishing connections, While also embracing the deaths of others, A cycle of creation, destruction, and rebirth. Now, envision a bond that chose stillness, Resigned to perish where it once thrived, Foregoing the openness, honesty, and tales, Conversations reduced to silent gazes. Yet, amid this perpetual continuity, Can we proclaim that it truly ended? For the essence of respect, care, and truth, Endures, transcending the labels cast aside. Thus, within the crucible of my weary mind, These thoughts surrender, bidding farewell, To contemplate the enigma of conclusion, Leavi...

Rebellious Keys

Losing your keys is the quiet rebellion of order against itself. At first, it feels like life has hiccuped. The kind of rupture so small it shouldn’t matter, yet manages to unhinge everything. You check your bag three times, then the counter, then the jacket you haven’t worn in a week. It's not about the keys anymore. It's about what their absence unravels. Because keys aren't just metal. They are continuity. They are the mundane rituals that trick us into believing the world makes sense — that if you follow the same path each day, you'll arrive somewhere familiar. But when keys disappear, the path collapses. Suddenly you’re not just late—you’re disoriented, unmoored, estranged from your own routine. And in that moment, a door becomes a symbol. Not of what's locked, but of how little you understand your own thresholds. How many doors have you opened without knowing what they kept out? How many times have you walked in without noticing what you left behind? The l...

My Turning Point

I saw her on the escalator. She was coming down as I was going up. That small, cinematic distance—just enough time to recognize, remember, and rehearse a lifetime in the space between two floors. Her hair was shorter now, the shade lighter, like the kind of choice you make after surviving something no one clapped for. She looked firmer in the shoulders, like she'd learned how to carry herself after being dropped too many times. More put-together. Less hesitant. But her eyes still had that old flicker—like she could still vanish into her own head mid-conversation. She was with someone. Maybe a partner. Maybe someone passing through. He had the look of someone she trusted with silence. The kind of man who didn’t ask her to shrink her dreams to fit a dinner conversation. I watched him lean in, say something only meant for her. She laughed, and it was soft, real, clean—like she no longer had to apologize for her joy. Then she saw me. Just a second too soon. Her expression shifte...

Senses

I taste… The bitterness of losing hope Bitter smoke, unable to cope  The sweetness of blissful memories Bittersweet tragedy. The spoiled fate of a soul Falling in his hell hole. The salty taste of tears, Wreaking memories filled with fears. I’ll taste the pain,  Close your lips and be sane. I see… The butterflies with metal wings Pine needles and mundane things. A lonely park filled with stories Stories filled with tragedies. The snail that was cruelly crushed, Dreams ending Reality suffocating. I'll see the pain. Close your eyes and be sane. I hear… A voice that haunts me, Telling me to let go and be free. The sobs of the moon Judgment and doom. Stories of monsters Hope for the flowers. I'll listen to the pain, Cover your ears and be sane. I smell…  The familiar scent Of a chaotically structured hair. No more care The aroma of coffee Stench of fantasy Reeking with insanity. ...

Not Everything That Ends is Broken

We live as if endings are always signs of failure. As if something must be broken for the door to close, the chapter to end, the thread to unravel. But sometimes, things don’t end because they’ve fallen apart. They end because they’ve simply... faded.  Fading doesn’t need fixing. It’s not a flaw in the design of the universe—it’s just a shift in the seasons. Some things are meant to exist only for a time. They come to you like light from a distant star, bright and warm, but you can’t hold it forever. You can only bask in it while it’s here. We fear the end, don’t we? The clean break that leaves us standing in the aftermath, wondering what we missed. But maybe it’s not about what we missed. Maybe it’s about what we gained in the process of letting go. Not everything that fades is lost. Not everything that ends is broken. Some things end because they’ve already given us what they came to give. And that’s enough. We hold on too tightly to moments, people, dreams, as if by sheer forc...

Labyrinthine Universe

Leaving all the noise that surrounds the world Admonishing the fear that leaves me curled, Battered heart still shouts your name, Yearning to forget the memories of our flame. Running away from Pandora’s tragic box, Irrelevant hope in fixing all those cracks, No hope in miracles, no hope in bliss, Tampered memories, ending with a kiss. How I miss the moments we were together, I yearn for the walks in a foggy weather, No more soft hands that I hold so tender, Even that chaotically structured hair, I remember! Unspoken emotions behind those light brown eyes, Nostalgic visions of your laughs, grunts and sighs, I remember how you used to cuddle me, Vestigial love killed by a malevolent destiny. Every promise I made to you won’t cease, Right in this very place where we found our peace, Strapped on a promise, I pray for you happiness Even if I descent to an ineffable madness.

How Can i Go On?

Goodbyes are rarely the dramatic moments we imagine. We think they’ll be loud—final, decisive, with all the weight of an ending hanging in the air. But in reality, goodbyes often take their time, slipping in quietly, unnoticed until they’ve already happened. It’s never one single moment, but a slow withdrawal, a gradual absence. The first missed text doesn’t feel like much. The second time they cancel plans doesn’t seem like a signal. But over time, these small moments accumulate, and one day you realize they’ve stopped calling, stopped reaching out. You don’t know when it happened exactly—just that it did. It’s a strange thing, how people can disappear without making a sound. You can still see their name on your phone, hear their voice in your head, but in the space between you, there’s a silence that didn’t exist before. It's not an ending. It’s a slow, deliberate pulling away—one step at a time, until there’s a distance too great to bridge. Some goodbyes don’t shout. They’re ...
